Senior Content Manager (Remote)

At Montaro, we work with premium brands that are just as obsessed as we are with authentic and elevated brand representation. In this role, you are responsible for all things brand presentation and brand equity on Amazon. Your job is to ensure that the Amazon representation of each of our brand partners is consistent and reflective of their DTC channel as well as optimized for and aligned with best practices in the marketplace. You will lead the Content team to drive internal accountability and to set and deliver against brand-specific content goals. You’ll also work closely with the Account Management team to ensure smooth client communication and a consistently high service level for brand partners.

  • You are visually creative and enjoy telling stories through a visual medium. You can learn a brand or product and successfully translate that through an interplay of text, images, and video content to elevate brand presentation, differentiate products, educate consumers, and ultimately drive sales and success on Amazon.
  • You can balance both the technical and creative sides of Amazon content. This requires a capacity for strategic planning, analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills combined with a passion for creativity and design. 
  • You can build scalable systems and efficient workflows as well as provide the leadership, creative vision and support needed to ensure your team is delivering quality results.
  • You set ambitious goals and have the organizational, communication, and management skills to meet and exceed them.

  • Learn each of our brands and bring the brand story to life on Amazon through optimized product listings, enhanced brand content, and branded storefronts. The ultimate goal is to deliver a consistent and elevated brand presentation while also optimizing for visibility, growth, and success on Amazon.
  • Design a curated and comprehensive content strategy for brand partners each year and execute against these goals with the support of your content team.
  • Conduct analyses of brand presentation using multiple data sources and tools on a regular basis to ensure that brand equity is continuously optimized across all touchpoints.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of new content tools, opportunities, research, and best practices on Amazon to ensure our partners are positioned for continued channel success.
  • Lead and manage the content team made up of part-time and full-time graphic designers, copywriters, and content scrubbers to ensure efficiency and high performance.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure coordinated client communication and best-in-class service for our growing portfolio of brands.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of content management, account management, or similar experience
  • Strong leader, motivator, and manager with a record of building and leading successful teams
  • Strong graphics and design skills including proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and competitive individual that is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central (preferred)
